Key West Sunset

A schooner sails in front of  a Key West sunset  as it was photographed from the Zachary Taylor Historic State Park.  This particular night,  there were only a few people at the park to participate in the nightly sunset celebration.   Most people go do the sunset ritual at Mallory Square but I believe this is the best place shoot.  No crowds and easy to set up a tripod.

Disney Vero Beach Resort

Disney's Resort at Vero Beach overlooks an early morning beach on the Atlantic ocean. This photograph was taken during the winter season but would be an excellent choice any time of the year.

Salt Lake Temple

Located in Salt Lake City, the Salt Lake Temple is the best known LDS temple in the world.  This three image HDR photograph was rendered to black and white to better capture the soaring spires and 100+ years of presence in the Salt Lake City.

Butterfly of Key West

The gardens at the "Butterfly and Nature Conservatory" of Key West hosts a large
number of exotic plants and butterflies. For a photographer, there are plenty of willing
subjects available here if this is your interest.  For me, a 100mm macro lens
together with a camera flash set for high speed shutter sync to help in capturing
the butterflies.  This one was taken at f/6.3 with a shutter speed of 1/320 sec.

Prepared for takeoff on the Star Wars Land Speeder

Lin is hovering over the lake at Universal Studios, Orlando
on a Stars-Wars-grade Land Speed taken from Hollywood Studios.  Don't
worry it was returned and ready for the next ride in front of the
Star Tours Adventure.

Ride the Movie at Disney's Hollywood Studios

This was taken at the Hollywood Studios Ride the Movies attraction. If you
have been there, you know this photograph must be taken from a moving studio vehicle packed
with people.  This was the best that I could do given the environment and small sensor camera
that was used (Canon Rebel XTi).  Because of the popularity of this photo, I plan to try it again
on the next visit using a Canon 5D MII with it's larger sensor and better ISO capabilities.  Why?  I simple
like it and because I can.  With Adobe Lightroom 4.0 and Photoshop CS6, I think it can be improved.

Street of Dreams on Main Street at Disney World, Magic Kingdom

Main Street at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom.  This photograph is a scene
of the busy street during the winter.  Obviously it was a great weather day and has
been enhanced using Photoshop the magicness of this kingdom.

Cinderella's Castle at Disney World's Magic Kingdom

Cinderella's Castle at Disney World's Magic Kingdom
A rather darker, more sinister appearance of the happy place.  Such as it is, maybe the evil queen of of the Snow White story took possession of castle.  The original photograph was taken early in the morning on a cloudy day.  Early park entry, called Magic Hour, that is a benefit extended to those guests staying at one of the Disney Resorts help get this people-less appearance .  For anyone interested in photographing the sights at Disney, you have a better chance of getting this kind of shot without the throngs of happy guests during the Magic Hour... along with the faithful assistance of Photoshop.

Alice in Wonderland (Epcot)

One of the most popular characters at Epcot that make parents and children line up for a hundred yards. The photo was taken with a Canon 5D MII and post processed with a combination of Topaz Labs and Photoshop. I felt that that putting the actual Alice character into a setting rendered to a cartoonish background helped with the presentation.
